Phase 9: Toned and Strong Part 3
By this point our members have a great deal of experience on the big lifts and are technically proficient at them. They are much stronger and fitter than when they started and this is the point where we start to work to intensities closer to failure or fatigue.
Failure means not being able to complete another repetition with good form.
This is a tried and tested protocol that has been a mainstay of weight training for many years.
Phase 10: 6/12/24
This combination programme mixes heavier strength rep ranges with mid range hypertrophy reps and higher metabolic conditioning rep ranges.
This is a challenging high intensity workout, not for the feint hearted, but having already completed 9 phases, our members are in good shape to deal with this level of training.
